- Merchant Authentication: Secure authentication tokens to keep you logged in to your dashboard and verify authorized API requests.
- Widget Session Context: Local browser storage so an ongoing conversation with an agent stays open and connected if the visitor navigates between pages on the merchant’s site.
- Interface Preferences: Settings you choose in the dashboard, such as alert sounds and panel layout, so they stay as you left them. These are part of essential storage: they are only read back to you.
- Security & Abuse Prevention: Tokens to prevent Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) and protect against automated denial-of-service attempts.
